2013:
Upcoming projects include a piece for Chinese traditional instrument ensemble, Music from China, as well as a new composition for voice and 10-cello ensemble Celli in Berkeley, CA. Check out the ensemble on Facebook.
October 26th, 2013: Jared will perform a new composition by himself, as well as John Dowland transcriptions by Richard Chowenhill, at the Brandeis University “Composers Collective”.
Jared will enter the studio with avant-garde metal group Ehnahre in September, to record three new intense compositions.
2012:
Jared will premiere three preludes for piano by Richard Chowenhill, as well as his own composition “Pas de replâtrage, la structure est pourrie“, for piano, electric guitar, and bass, October 26th at Brandeis University.
Upcoming events include Fall recitals at Brandeis University and in Berkeley, as well as the California premiere of a new composition, “Stonewall Songs”, for female voice and piano.
Jared was a participant in the International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition in Bergen, Norway this September. He also performed recitals in the Bergen area, including pieces by William Byrd and Henri Dutilleux.
